OSloop is a fully compliant EN12101-10 control system that distributes power and data via a loop such that the system still operates if the cable is cut. The local MCP becomes the zonal controller on each floor thus offering savings in fire-rated field wiring costs.
For non-residential smoke ventilation applications the system is utilised for fire-fighting smoke shafts and fire-fighting lobby AOV’s combined with the fire-fighting stair. The system is OPEN PROTOCOL, accessible to any SE Controls authorised Partner or Licenced Installed within the national approved network to ensure the life safety system is correctly serviced and operational.
The smoke detector head and base is a certified, optical detector for use as a smoke detection system within fire-fighting lobby and stair applications.
It is used in conjunction with the OSLoop and SHEVTEC OS2 controls systems to provide a stand-alone, compliant smoke detection and ventilation system and gives a failsafe signal to the controls system if the head is removed or activated.
The OS2 Shevtec controller is a flexible, fully compliant EN12101-10 control panel that can operate either as a stand-alone, networked, or multi-zoned system for both smoke and environmental ventilation applications.
With an 8 Amp output systems with a small number of smoke vents, or larger networked systems with high amperage smoke vents can be efficiently controlled by networking signals and reducing cable installation cost.
The controller is also utilised for fire-fighting lobby AOV and smoke shafts which are easily programmed via OSLink dip switch selection. The system is OPEN PROTOCOL, accessible to any SE Controls authorised Partner or Licenced Installed within the national approved network to ensure the life safety system is correctly serviced and operational.
The SHEVTEC PSU control panel range is a fully compliant EN12101-10 solution to automate smoke vents (SHEV’s) with larger amperage draw or larger groups for both smoke and environmental applications. It can be networked over larger areas such as atria applications to reduce cable installation cost or built as larger modular control panels to operate SHEV’s from a single location.
Environmental ventilation is also facilitated via digital (volt free), analogue(0-10v) or Building Management System protocols, plus the system can operate as a stand-alone solution via the connection of remote sensors such as temperature, wind and rain.
The control panels can be manufactured to IP 55 for roof mounting to save on cable installation cost and save valuable plant room space. The system is OPEN PROTOCOL, accessible to any SE Controls authorised Partner or Licenced Installed within the national approved network to ensure the life safety system is correctly serviced and operational.
The Fan-set control panel range is a certified system to mechanically extract smoke from fire-fighting lobbies via smoke shafts and pressurised escape/fire-fighting stairs. They are manufactured in both single and variable speed options to offer the flexibility to control pressures within the lobby and provide fire-fighting auto/boost functionality.
Duty and standby activation of the smoke ventilation fans is provided via pressure monitoring with auto changeover activation.
The MCP is a fully compliant EN12101-9 control point that integrates with OSLoop, OS2 Shevtec Controller and SHEVTEC PSU controls systems for fire fighting smoke shafts and lobby AOV’s, escape and fire fighting stairs, and atria smoke ventilation applications.
It provides both open and close/reset activation of smoke ventilators in addition to system activation and specific fault indication via a series of blink codes. The MCP is available in both surface mounted and recessed applications.
The Tamper Proof MCP is a fully compliant EN12101-9 control point that integrates with OSLoop and OS2 Shevtec Controller systems for smoke shaft and end of corridor AOV smoke ventilation applications.
For installations that may be subject to increased nuisance operation it only provides close/reset activation of smoke ventilators as there is no requirement to manually open a smoke vent in a communal escape corridor. A manual Fireman’s override is however optional via a secure key. The MCP provides both activation and specific fault indication via a series of blink codes.
The MCP is available in both surface mounted and recessed applications.
The modular SHEVTEC Repeater Panel has been designed to provide system status information for each smoke vent within a fire-fighting lobby. It would typically be located near the fire service access entrance of the building to provide system indication.
