3A Transformer Switched

The 3A transformer switch is a compact, certified controller to operate 24v DC window actuators for environmental ventilation. It is easily programmable via the switches to provide fully open/closed operation or incremental positioning of the window or roof vent. Contained within a standard 47mm deep double-gang box, the 3A switch provides a neat, flush solution for domestic and commercial applications.

3A Transformer Unswitched

The 3A transformer is a compact, certified controller to operate 24v DC window actuators for environmental ventilation via the connection of an open/close switch or digital (volt free) BMS signal. Contained within a standard 47mm deep double-gang back box, the 3A transformer provides a neat, flush solution for domestic and commercial applications.

Open/Close Switch

The open/close switch provides incremental operation of 230v actuators, or 24v DC actuators via the SE Controls range of transforming controls systems.
Surface installation is provided via the use of a standard single back box.

Temperature Sensor

The temperature sensor forms part of an environmental control system, often utilising window automation to bring in fresh and exhaust stale air.

Wind Sensor

Wind sensors are utilised as part of an environmental system that automates AOV’s to regulate indoor air quality when the AOV is located within an exposed location. The sensor speed is programmable, aligned to the project location and design requirement.

PIR Sensor

PIR sensors are utilised if a window or vent automatically closes and the entrapment risk area is located below 2.5m from FFL. Actuators may have programmable closing force and speed which will negate the risk if the leading edge of the vent only is below 2.5m, however the scissor effect to the side of the vent must be assessed as the closing pressures are higher. Considered design and control strategy can often negate the requirement for PIR sensors in addition to risk assessing the building type and it’s occupants.

Rain Sensor

The rain sensor is utilised in conjunction with an environmental system that automates windows and vents to regulate the indoor air quality of the space via regulating temperature and Co2. It will close the vent or leave it partially open as dictated by the strategy and the controls system.
