In line with our commitment to ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards, SE Controls is proud to announce that our Variable Speed Fan Control Panel has successfully passed the dry heat test outlined in BS ISO 21927-9:2012 – the standard for smoke and heat control systems.
Dry Heat Test Success
The dry heat test, conducted by an independent laboratory, required the panel to operate at 75°C for no less than two hours. The entire testing duration exceeded five hours, ensuring that the temperature was consistently maintained at 75°C for the required period while the Fan Control Panel was under load. This rigorous testing process assures that our Fan Control Panel will perform reliably when deployed on building rooftops, highlighting its durability and dependability.
Key Features and Compliance
Panel Size and Compliance: The size of the Fan Control Panel is a key factor in its compliance with industry standards. The standard panel size not only facilitates expansion and customisation but also ensures that it meets the stringent requirements set forth by BS 61439-1/2. This compliance underscores our commitment to providing reliable and adaptable solutions for various smoke extraction applications.
Integrated Expandability: With our Fan Control Panel, the standard panel provides a basis for expansion and customisation. This structure facilitates enhanced flexibility to satisfy specific application requirements, while also ensuring long-term adaptability and cost efficiencies. Achieving this expansion is possible through specially designed option packs that cater to distinct application needs. For instance, there is the option to support the monitoring of up to fifty pressure sensors to mitigate excessive pressure in a designated area.
Cloudlink Option Pack: With the Cloudlink option pack, round-the-clock system status evaluation is possible. The innovative Cloudlink system equips the SE Controls Maintenance Team to undertake both scheduled and corrective maintenance as required, directly on the installed system.
Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS): Another feature that can be added to our Fan Control Panel is the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). The Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) complies with BS EN 60947-6-1, ensuring safety and reliability. The ATS continuously monitors the voltage and frequency of the primary power source. In the event of a power failure, it seamlessly switches to the backup power supply, ensuring minimal downtime.
Designed for the smoke control industry, our Fan Control Panel guarantees reliable performance and adherence to the highest safety standards.
