SE Controls Coronavirus Updates

Further lockdown measures will be introduced in England from today (Thursday 5th November) until Wednesday 2 nd December and we can confirm that SE Controls will remain open for business and continue to attend sites and provide a full service.

The Prime Minister confirmed that Construction sites will be able to stay open throughout the new national lockdown in England. In an address to the nation on Saturday, Boris Johnson said that the sector should continue operating during the new period of restrictions; “Workplaces should stay open where people can’t work from home – for example in the construction or manufacturing sectors.”

The health, well-being and ongoing employment of our workforce continues to be of paramount importance and the business has already implemented a range of measures to ensure our employees remain safe. SE Controls is complying with the recommendations of the Government and health authorities concerning the current Covid-19 pandemic. Where possible, those of our staff who can work from home are doing so.

Maintenance of life safety systems remains a legal requirement.  Our engineers are actively attending to our customers’ needs whilst strictly following recognised safety protocols to protect themselves and our clients. Any works relating to the NHS will be treated as a priority. Other public buildings which are critical to fighting the Coronavirus will also be treated preferentially.
