SE Controls’ brief was to design and install a smoke ventilation system that would automatically open windows and smoke shaft doors in the event of fire, and efficiently disperse smoke from the building to ensure maximum safety for residents – housed in both the main complex and link bridge feature. SE Controls’ system consisted of a series of corridor smoke vents and AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) windows, powered by the company’s innovative multi zone OSO control system. The company used their much proven SELA 24 S linear actuators and SECO 24 40 chain actuators to operate the AOVs.
