End of Wall Corridor AOV
An end of corridor AOV is implemented into the smoke ventilation strategy for a residential building, when the corridor extends to the external wall of the building. The AOV should be located as high as practically possible to encourage the buoyant smoke reservoir to naturally discharge out of the AOV, before entering into the escape stair.
