Coronavirus Policy Statement.

This is the Statement of SE Controls Coronavirus Policy under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

It is the policy of S E Controls, so far as is reasonably practicable, to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of all employees, contractors and visitors to the premises, and members of the public who may be affected by our activities.  
 
More particularly that; 

  • SE Controls are referring to Public Health England and UK Government on a daily basis for latest advice and guidance relating to the Coronavirus and minimising spread of infection. From our perspective it is very much business as usual pending any guidance and advice to the contrary.
  •  All SE Controls employees have been issued Coronavirus Instruction Cards with mandatory control and hygiene measures which must be taken by all employees.
  • All engineers who will attend occupied sites have been issued with disposable nitrile gloves, hand sanitiser and an enhanced set of instruction cards.  Engineers will also comply with any additional controls imposed by individual client sites.
  • All SE Controls employees have in addition completed an online Coronavirus Awareness course
  •  Business continuity and delivery of our contractual obligations, as is the health and wellbeing of our colleagues, visitors and our supply chain is of paramount importance.
  • SE Controls has a comprehensive and robust Business Continuity Plan that has been implemented as part of the impact of COVID-19. First and foremost is the protection of our staff, customers, partners and our supply chain. Our current policy is to carry on business as usual where we are able to. Our efforts will be directed to minimise the impact to your business as much as possible.
  • Travel restrictions are in place in line with Government advice.  We have requested employees minimise face-to-face meetings and replace with technology-based solutions where feasible.

It shall be the responsibility of all employees at work;
  • To adhere to Government advice and comply with the Coronavirus Instruction card issued
  • To remain vigilant and report any symptoms to their Line Manager, call 111 and not to report for work unless cleared of infection by medical professionals.
