Regulations
A number of regulations and guidelines promote natural ventilation and its appropriate design.
The Building Bulletins are documents produced by the Department for Children, Schools & Families on all aspects of school design. BB101 recommends natural ventilation in teaching spaces.
BREEAM rewards the use of natural ventilation, due in part to its low energy benefits.
CIBSE promotes best practice in natural ventilation implementation with its guide AM10.
There are many other such documents that should be referred to and followed to endure an effective natural ventilation system design.
